  1. Download and open the APK on your Android phone. Allow installation from your browser if Android asks.
  2. Ask the library owner to open Jester Music on the PC → Take it with you → Pair Android. Create a profile for each person, or choose their existing profile for another device. Each phone needs its own one-use code.
  3. On your phone, open Settings → Connect or change PC and scan that QR code, or paste the pairing code. No JesterMedia account is needed for music pairing.
  4. Choose an album and tap Play to stream, or Download to keep an offline copy. Use a song’s menu to add it to your playlists. Playlists and favorites stay separate for each profile; playlist changes need a connection to the PC. The PC must stay on and connected for streaming; its music window can be closed.
  5. For your car, open Jester Music Settings → Android Auto setup. Directly installed apps need Unknown sources enabled in Android Auto’s own developer settings, then reconnect the car.

Future updates arrive in Jester Music → Settings → App updates. Existing users: update in the app, then tap Sync once on home Wi-Fi to enable streaming away from home.

Android Auto uses the car's own interface. If this directly installed app is missing from its launcher, enable Unknown sources in Android Auto's developer settings while parked.
